1. Apply for funding
Fill in the form here and apply for funding. We will follow up and set a meeting to learn more about your dairy processing facility and demonstrate the software and what you will get.
2. Register on Zira
Following the introduction meeting and if you qualify, we will set up your own site on Zira and invite you to log in and complete the registration form.
3. Map your facility and invite users
During a kickoff meeting with a Zira engineer, you will start a facility mapping where you input information about major energy consumers (machines) and processes at your facility and invite your team members. This step enables a quick and easy site visit during which a Zira engineer will prepare a meter installation plan.
4. Generate meter installation plan
A Zira engineer will visit your site to build an installation plan specific to your facility during this step. The site visit typically takes 1-2 hours, depending on the size of your facility. Our engineer will provide the installation plan to your team for approval.
5. Schedule installation of meters
Our team will work with you to schedule an installation date convenient for you. The average installation time for a facility is one day.
6. Improve your performance
Performance improvement will begin to show immediately. You will be able to measure and see your performance improvement over time and benchmark yourself against how other participants are doing. Our key performance indicator is ‘kWh/Lbs Milk In’. You can create more benchmarks on Zira for your own usage such as kWh/unit produced and even other production units of measures such as OEE.
